Julie,
I'm doing pretty well,
just busy with schoolwork. Fall break is in a week and a half. I am
going to go to Minneapolis for a food industry, it should be a lot of
fun. I think the big brother/big sister idea sounds pretty cool and
would be willing to participate. Oddly enough there are three other
Coloradoans on my dorm floor this year. It is kinda cool though.
I hope all is going well in
Colorado.
Amanda
John
and Jeanne:
Thank you so much for the card and for thinking
of me. It was fun to get! My senior year is going great so far and I'm
definitely keeping busy. I had two tests today, so it was nice to get
those out of the way! I can't believe it's already the end of the 5th
week of school.
Hope everything is going well in Colorado, I'll
make sure to cheer the Huskers extra loud for you in hopes that they
will turn things around this weekend.
Thanks again for you thought and support!

Things
are going good here. I do think that a big sister/brother would be a
good idea. Even if just for someone to talk to. I had a calculus test
today think it went well I will write more later on when midterms #1 are
over. Thank you soo much for your support.

College is all that I expected. All the studying you have to do
everyday and all the papers you have to write. Classes are going good!!
Keeping up with all the readings is the hardest part. I have joined a
sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta! Also involved in conversation people. I
get paired up with an exchange student who is in the
College
of Business and get to know their culture. I meet with them once or
twice a week for the whole semester.
GO HUSKERS!!!!
Lauren Fesler
Hello and thank you for the email. Sorry I did not write to you
sooner. So far college here and the University of Nebraska Kearney has
been a blast. Everyone here has been very nice and I am making new
friends daily. Classes are also going very well at this time and have
not been too hard. I could not be happier with the campus here, it is
not too big and not too small and you see familiar faces everywhere.
Baseball has been going as well as it can be, I am injured and require
wrist surgery at the beginning of next month, I hope to get a medical
red shirt for this up coming season. Too bad i didnt break my leg
instead, I still get to enjoy all the running at 6am. I would also like
to take this time to thank you for your scholarship. I really
appreciate what this organization is doing in Colorado. Once again thank
you for the email, hope to here from you soon or maybe see you back home
in Colorado.
Sincerely, Josh Gesell (Go Huskers!) |
